    Metal beryllium is used to manufacture special beryllium-containing alloys such as beryllium aluminum, beryllium titanium, beryllium nickel, and beryllium tungsten. Metal beryllium is processed into beryllium powder, beryllium profiles, beryllium rods, beryllium blocks, beryllium wires, beryllium mirrors, and beryllium foil (sheets), which are used in nuclear reactors, nuclear weapons, nuclear physics devices, space telescopes, and medical detection beryllium windows. Aluminum beryllium master alloy is used in the smelting of aluminum alloys and magnesium alloys.
